What Makes Gaydos Duffer Different?

Family law issues are often fraught with emotion. In divorce cases, life is changing for the spouses, and if they have children, decisions must be made in their best interest. At Gaydos Duffer, we strive to make the experience as stress free as possible. We are a small firm and believe that makes us particularly attentive to the individual client needs.

Benefits of a Small Law Firm

All our partners are knowledgeable and involved in every aspect of the cases that come through our door. In larger firms, not everyone is hands-on in every case. At Gaydos Duffer, everyone in our firm plays a role from beginning to the very end of your case.

Our team of attorneys and paralegals do not “dabble” in other areas of the law. We focus only on family law issues. Our attorneys are constantly educating themselves so they are able to represent you with the best knowledge possible for your particular case.

At Gaydos Duffer, you will find that any time you have a court date or a mediation date coming up we will call and email reminders for each client. If we have asked a client to take care of some aspect related to their case, Courtney or Lindsey will personally call and ask if they have followed through with the attorney’s requests.

No case is too big or too small for us. Some larger firms will not take what they consider a small case that will not bring in a lot of money to the firm. That is not our thought process, our focus is on our clients and their specific needs.

Every member of our firm can relate to someone who walks into this office. We are a diverse group, many of us come from different backgrounds and cultures. Some of us have blended families. Some have stepchildren but no children of our own. Some attorneys are married but have no children, and others have a traditional family: husband, wife, and children. We believe that this sets us apart from other firms in that we are not “cookie-cutter” but are unique in many ways.

Another thing that sets us apart is our retainers. We do not have on set retainer fee, but the fees fluctuate on a case-by-case basis so that it fits exactly what the client needs from us. We can also set up a payment plan if necessary.
