Lauren Gaydos Duffer grew up in Arlington, Texas where she graduated from James Martin high school in 1996. She is the daughter of Larry Gaydos, an attorney at Haynes and Boone, L.L.P., and Joanne Gaydos. Lauren is married to Ronnie Duffer, the owner of Tri Star Pools and the mother of two sons, Blake and Brody.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communications from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Lauren was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority at Baylor. After graduating cum laude from Baylor, Lauren returned to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and received her law degree from SMU in Dallas.
Lauren is a member of the Arlington Bar Association, where she served on the Board of Directors from 2009-2010, Secretary/Treasurer from 2010-2011, Vice President from 2011-2012 and President from 2012-2013. She is also a charter member of the Arlington Young Lawyers Association and served as President from 2010-2011.
Lauren’s other memberships include: Collaborative Lawyers of Arlington and Mansfield, State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, Collaborative Law Institute of Texas, the Texas Bar College, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys, Resolve, Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association, and State Bar of Texas Collaborative Law section.
